LEONHARD EULER

• Contributions:
a) He introduced the concept of a function and was the first to write f(x) you donate to the function of f applied to the argument x
b) He introduced the modern notations for the trigonometric functions, the letter e for the base of the natural logarithm
c) The use of the Greek letter II to denote the ratio of a circlis circumference to eat so diameter was also popularized by Euler.
d) Euler also discovered the formula v=E+F=2
e) Relating the number of vertices, edges and faces of a convex polyhydron

• Achievements:
a) Euler presented a solution to the problem known as the
“Seven bridges of koningsberg”
b) Euler helped developing the Euler-Bernoulli Beam Equation, which become a cornerstone of engineering
c) Euler is also credited with using closed curse to illustrated syllogistics seasoning. These diagrams have become known as Euler diagrams
