Aqueous humor is a clear, watery fluid that circulates in the front portion of the eye between the cornea and the lens. It helps to nourish and maintain the health of the cornea and lens and is also responsible for helping to maintain the intraocular pressure (IOP) within the eye. Aqueous humor is produced by the ciliary body and is constantly circulating within the eye to provide nourishment and to regulate the pressure within the eye.
