Planaria : Receptors -പ്ലാനേറിയ

Planaria possess an eye spot, which is a primitive light-sensing organ located in the anterior end of the organism. The eye spot is composed of a pigment cup containing light-sensitive cells that detect changes in light intensity. The eye spot is not really an eye, as it lacks a lens or other structures that would allow for true vision. However, it does allow the planaria to orient itself in its environment by detecting changes in light.
