Darwinism – ഡാർവിനിസം

Darwinism is a theory of biological evolution developed by the English naturalist Charles Darwin and others, stating that all species of organisms arise and develop through the natural selection of small, inherited variations that increase the individual’s ability to compete, survive, and reproduce. Darwinism states that populations evolve over the course of generations through a process of natural selection, where individuals with beneficial traits are more likely to survive and reproduce than those with less beneficial traits. The theory of evolution by natural selection was proposed by Darwin in On the Origin of Species, published in 1859. It has since been the basis of modern evolutionary biology. Darwinism is considered to be the foundation of modern evolutionary theory and is the unifying concept of all of life sciences.
