Homo neanderthalensis – ഹോമോ നിയാണ്ടർതലൻസിസ്

Homo neanderthalensis, also known as Neanderthals, were a species of archaic human that lived in Eurasia during the Middle and Upper Paleolithic period. They are believed to have descended from Homo heidelbergensis and are the closest extinct relatives of Homo sapiens, the modern human species. Neanderthals are generally thought to have had a range of physical traits that differed from the modern human, including a larger body size, a more robust build, a larger cranial capacity, and a more pronounced brow ridge. They were also thought to have had a distinctive culture, with evidence of tool use, art, and burial practices. Neanderthals went extinct around 40,000 years ago, after having coexisted with modern humans for thousands of years.
