Propagation of sound – ശബ്ദത്തിന്റെ പ്രചരണം

Sound is a form of energy that is propagated through a medium such as air, water, or solid materials as a wave. It is created by the vibration of an object, which creates a pressure wave that travels through the medium. The speed of sound depends on the medium it is traveling through; for example, sound travels faster in water than in air. When sound reaches an object or surface, it can be reflected, refracted, diffracted, or absorbed. The sound wave can also be distorted as it passes through different mediums, resulting in changes in frequency and amplitude.
Sound is a type of energy that is produced when vibrations cause particles in a medium (such as air, water, or any other substance) to move back and forth rapidly. This vibration creates pressure waves that travel through the medium and can be heard when they reach a person’s ear.
