Kepler’s law – കെപ്ലറുടെ നിയമങ്ങള്‍

Kepler’s laws of planetary motion are three scientific laws describing the motion of planets around the Sun. The laws are named after the German astronomer Johannes Kepler, who first published them in 1609.

The first law states that all planets move in elliptical orbits with the Sun at one focus.

The second law states that a line joining a planet and the Sun sweeps out equal areas in equal times.

The third law states that the square of the orbital period of a planet is proportional to the cube of the semi-major axis of its orbit.
