Hypermetropia or long sightedness – ഹൈപ്പർമെട്രോപിയ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ദീർഘദൃഷ്ടി

Hypermetropia or long sightedness is a refractive error in which distant objects are seen clearly, but close objects appear blurred. It is caused by an imperfection in the eye, where the eyeball is either too short or the cornea has too little curvature, so the light entering the eye is not focused correctly. People with hypermetropia can often correct this problem using glasses or contact lenses which help to refocus the light entering the eye.
