Dispersion of light – പ്രകാശ പ്രകീര്‍ണനം

Light dispersion is the process of separating a beam of light into its component colors. This is usually seen in the form of a rainbow, when sunlight passes through a prism or other refracting material. The different wavelengths of light are bent at different angles as they pass through the prism, and this causes them to separate into the various colors of the visible spectrum.
