Mitosis and meiosis – ക്രമഭംഗം

Mitosis is a type of cell division that forms two identical daughter cells from one parent cell. During mitosis, the chromosomes in the nucleus are divided into two equal sets, each of which is then moved to one of the two daughter cells. Meiosis is another type of cell division that produces four daughter cells from one parent cell, each of which has half the number of chromosomes of the parent cell. During meiosis, the chromosomes are shuffled and recombined in different combinations to create the new daughter cells.
