Inductor – ഇൻഡക്റ്റർ

An inductor is an electrical component that stores energy in the form of a magnetic field when an electric current passes through it. It consists of a coil of wire that has an alternating magnetic field when current passes through it. The inductor resists changes in the current and can be used to regulate or filter the current in a circuit. Inductors can also be used to store energy, which can be released in the form of a large pulse when needed.
