Inner medulla : Norepinephrine – നോറെപിനെഫ്രിൻ

Norepinephrine (NE) is an organic chemical and hormone released by the adrenal glands in response to stress. It is a neurotransmitter involved in the sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the body’s fight-or-flight response. NE increases heart rate and blood pressure, narrows blood vessels, and increases blood glucose levels. It also increases alertness and attention, and stimulates the release of other hormones. NE is also involved in memory and learning. It is used in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
