Lymph and defence – ലിംഫും പ്രതിരോധവും

The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that help the body fight against infection and disease. It is part of the body’s immune system and includes the lymph nodes, tonsils, thymus, spleen, and bone marrow. These organs and tissues produce, store, and carry white blood cells that fight infection and other diseases. The lymphatic system also helps the body flush out toxins, waste, and other unwanted materials. The lymph nodes act as filters that trap bacteria and other disease-causing agents. This helps the body fight infection and disease and keep the body healthy. The spleen helps to filter and recycle old red blood cells and produce new ones. The thymus is responsible for the production of T cells, which are white blood cells that help fight infection. The tonsils are an important part of the body’s defence system and help to trap bacteria, viruses, and other disease-causing agents before they can enter the body.
