Periodic winds – കാലികവാതങ്ങൾ

Periodic winds are winds that blow for a period of time and are characterized by their regularity. Examples of periodic winds include the monsoons of the Indian Ocean, the trade winds of the Atlantic and the land and sea breezes of the Mediterranean. These winds can be either prevailing (consistent) or intermittent (occasional). They are caused by a variety of factors, including atmospheric pressure patterns, the Coriolis effect, and the direction and speed of air movement.
