Raining is a happy experience, isn’t it. Don’t you like playing in rain.? “Sheeba don’t go out in rain. Come in out of the rain”, parents ask you.
What is rain? How does it rain? Hope you know. Rain is the falling of condensed moisture as drops.
Moisture condenses. It forms into droplets. These droplets collide each other. Thus forms drops. Atmosphere fails to hold it. The drops fall down. This is rain. There are several types of rain. Continuous rain in tropical countries is the heaviest rain.
Rains drench the earth. Thus the land gets a lot of nitrogen. Nitrogen is the most needed manure for plant growth.
Plants and animals need a lot of water. Water is the elixir of life. No living thing can survive without water. Earth is the only planet where there is water. And it is why there is life on our blue planet.
Man’s unscientific deeds result drought. This year, in Kerala there experienced 34% of shortage of rain. The main reason I think is the increase of number of vehicles run by fossil fuels. The use of L.P.G and other petroleum products as fuels results atmospheric pollution. Carbondioxide and other dangerous gases cause to the rise in atmospheric temperature. Its ultimate result is lack of rain. It will lead to all types of imbalance of nature. It will affect life on our planet. So we must avoid the abnormal use of fossil fuels. Use nature friendly methods. Invite rain by growing plants and trees. Let it rain. Let the land get wet and lush. Let us work hand in hand and save our planet.
