T-Lymphocytes – ടി-ലിംഫോസൈറ്റുകൾ

T-lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell that is a part of the immune system. They are responsible for helping the body fight off infections and diseases. They are also involved in the regulation of immune responses and the body’s defences against foreign substances. T-lymphocytes are divided into two main categories: helper T-cells and cytotoxic T-cells. Helper T-cells are responsible for stimulating other cells to fight off infection, while cytotoxic T-cells directly attack and kill infected cells in the body. These cells are produced in the thymus gland and can differentiate into either helper or cytotoxic T-cells. They are also capable of recognizing and responding to antigens that are presented by other cells in the body. This allows them to identify foreign material and respond to it appropriately. T-lymphocytes are essential for a healthy immune system and are involved in both adaptive and innate immunity.
