The coils of a magnet create a strong magnetic field when an electric current is passed through them. The current creates an electromagnetic field that amplifies the magnetic field created by the magnet. The stronger the electric current, the stronger the magnetic field. As the current passes through the coils, the magnetic fields created by each coil interact with each other and add to the overall magnetic field strength. This amplifies the overall magnetic field to a much higher intensity
than if the coils were not present.
