“A GLIMPSE OF HIS LIFE” He was born in the village of Klushino, RUSSIA. His father was a carpenter and his mother worked as a Dairy farmer. When he was a teenager ,he witnessed a Russian fighter plane making an emergency landing near his home .This incident created a spark in him. Years after he joined a flying club and made his first solo fight in 1955. Later he submitted his request to be considered as a “COSMONAUT” On 12th April,1961,at 09:07 A.M VOSTOKI space craft was launched from SOVIET’S LAUNCH STATION. Over the course of 108 minutes, VOSTOK 1 traveled around the EARTH once ,reaching a max height of 203 miles (327 km) Due to the lack of supply, about 4 miles [7 km] up, GAGARIN rejected from the space craft and parachute to EARTH In order to count the mission as a success, the pilot must land back with the space craft but soviet leaders hide the fact that GAGARIN had come backed with out SPACE CRAFT. “GAGARIN” set the record as the “FIRST PERSON TO ENTER SPACE”
