LOUIS PASTEUR was born on 27th DECEMBER 1822 in DOLE, FRANCE.
After earning “BACHELOR OF ARTS DEGREE” in 1840, he earned “BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE” in 1842 from the “ROYAL COLLEGE OF BESANCON”.
In 1847,he earned a DOCTORATE from the ECOLE NORMAL IN PARIS.
In 1848,he become a “PROFESSOR OF CHEMISTRY” at the “UNIVERSITY OF STRASBOURG”
In 1849,he married “MARIE LAURENT”
In 1854,he was appointed as a “PROFESSOR OF CHEMISTRY” at the “UNIVERSITY OF LILLE”.
In the “UNIVERSITY OF LILLE’ he started researching and found out that organisms such as BACTERIA were responsible for the souring of wine, beer and even milk.
In 1879,he first developed a vaccine against “CHICKEN CHOLERA “After the success of this vaccine, he developed vaccines against “CHOLERA,ANTHRAX,TUBERCULOSIS AND SMALL POX”.
In 1885,he vaccined a 9 year old boy who had been bitten by a “RABID DOG”.
His vaccine proved successful and the boy return back to his normal life.
The vaccine against “RABIES” made him world famous.
In 1868,due to a “Brain stroke”.
