Self induction – സെല്‍ഫ് ഇൻഡക്ഷൻ

Self induction is a phenomenon in which a changing electric current in a circuit induces a voltage in the same circuit. It is also known as “self-inductance.” It is an electromagnetic phenomenon in which a changing current in a circuit causes a change in the magnetic field, which then induces a voltage in the same circuit. Self induction is one of the three types of inductance, the other two being mutual induction and leakage inductance.
