Trade winds , Westerlies and Polar easterlies – വാണിജ്യവാതങ്ങൾ, പശ്ചിമവാതങ്ങൾ, ധ്രുവീയപൂര്‍വവാതങ്ങൾ

Trade winds are easterly winds that move in a belt-like pattern around the Earth near the equator. They originate in the subtropical high-pressure belts of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, blow from east to west, and often bring dry and settled weather.
The Westerlies are the prevailing winds in the middle latitudes between 30 and 60 degrees latitude, blowing from the southwest in the Northern Hemisphere and from the northwest in the Southern Hemisphere. These winds are caused by the large-scale pattern of atmospheric pressure, which is known as the Ferrel cell.
Polar easterlies are winds that blow from the east towards the poles. These winds are caused by the Coriolis effect, which causes air to flow poleward and eastward in the Northern Hemisphere and poleward and westward in the Southern Hemisphere. These winds are weaker than the trade winds and the Westerlies and are responsible for bringing cold air to the poles.
