Equatorial low pressure belt – മധ്യരേഖാ ന്യൂനമർദമേഖല

The equatorial low pressure belt is a zone of low atmospheric pressure located near the equator. This belt of low pressure is created by the rising and descending air in the Hadley cell circulation, which is a large atmospheric circulation system that extends from the equator to the poles. The equatorial low pressure belt typically creates most of the rainfall in the tropics, as air rises and cools, it condenses and forms clouds, leading to precipitation.
